Revoke Permit for Texas Oil Export Terminal, Tribes Say (1)

An Army Corps of Engineers’ permit for an oil export terminal expansion project in Texas must be revoked and the application for it sent back to the agency for a complete review of the effects of the project on the environment, tribes and a conservation group told a federal judge in the state.

The Corps failed to take a required “hard look” at those effects before it issued a Clean Water Act Section 404 permit for the Enbridge Ingleside Oil Terminal in San Patricio County, according to the filing in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas. ...
