Revenue Management Company Hit With Suit Over MOVEit Data Breach

A revenue management services company whose MOVEit file transfer server was breached in May allegedly failed to reveal its cyber and data systems were “completely inadequate” to keep an unknown number of patients’ private information safe, a new class action lawsuit says.

Although the data breach occurred on May 31, Arietis Health, LLC was allegedly alerted by its third-party vendor before it conducted an internal investigation and ultimately notified state attorneys general of the widespread breach on Oct. 2, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
