Retired Seventh Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner must face a breach-of-contract claim brought by the former director of his legal assistance program, who alleges Posner owes him $170,000 in unpaid salary.
Under their amended employment agreement, Brian Vukadinovich alleges he and Posner agreed to a $120,000 per year in salary, which Posner would be personally responsible for paying. In addition to serving as the director of the Posner Center for Justice for Pro Ses, Vukadinovich also provided “advisory services” to Posner “in his personal capacity, regarding his personal ventures” separate from the organization, the lawsuit said.
