Renkim Sued Over Data Breach of Clients’ Mailing Information

Renkim Corp. was hit with a proposed class action after an unauthorized actor accessed data that it used to operate its mailing business.

Plaintiff Eleanor Griffin was unsure how Renkim obtained her data, but now knows that in March 2025, someone accessed the personal information of 46,864 people, according to her suit filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

She believed that she provided one of Renkim’s clients her name, Social Security number, contact, and protected health data, the suit said on information and belief.
