Reliable One Falsely Touted ‘N-95' Masks to Investors, SEC Says

Reliable One Resources and its Quantum Filtration Inc. subsidiary raised about $34 million from more than 500 investors while misrepresenting the N-95 certification status of their face masks and other issues, the SEC says in a new suit.

The companies and the two individuals who controlled them also improperly sold the stock without registering it, the agency says. It filed its complaint Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
