Refresco Beverages’ $650,000 deal to settle an employee’s class action following a cyberattck on the company’s computer systems received preliminary approval from a federal judge.
The attack compromised the personal information of 23,491 class members, according to court documents from the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Plaintiff John Berry sued for negligence, breach of contract, and violation of privacy under California law.
