Redgrave LLP, Ogletree Beat Ex-Redgrave Partner’s Suit, For Now

A founding former partner of Redgrave LLP failed with her preemptive attempt to bar the e-discovery law firm and its counsel, Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart PC, from forcing her to arbitrate employment-related claims.

Karen O’Brien Hourigan sued the two firms in the US District Court for the Northern District of California under the Declaratory Judgment Act. That came after Redgrave sued her in Florida state court for allegedly breaching its partnership agreement and a related pact and then moved that case to arbitration.
