Red Roof Inns Faces 15 Civil Suits Alleging Sex Trafficking

Red Roof Inns Inc. must defend against fifteen individual lawsuits alleging its hotels across the country benefited from sex trafficking after a federal judge denied its motions to dismiss.

The allegations from the complaints were collectively sufficient to allege that Red Roof directly or indirectly benefited from a venture that it should’ve known violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, Judge Algenon L. Marbley, of the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, ruled Thursday.
