Red Lobster Biscuit Home Mix Maker Must Face Yield False-Ad Suit

Baking mix company Continental Mills Inc. must continue fending off claims that it deceptively advertised the amount of biscuits its Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit home mix could make, a federal judge said.

“These crispy, buttery biscuits are familiar to and beloved by many,” Judge Nancy J. Rosenstengel of the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois said Thursday. But when plaintiff Cassandra Neubauer tried to make the biscuits at home, “she came up a few biscuits short,” the judge added.
