Realogy to Pay $20 Million to Settle Lawsuit Over Unwanted Calls

Real-estate services company Realogy Holdings Corp. would pay $20 million to settle allegations its agents made telemarketing calls in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act under a proposed deal filed in federal court.

Members of the settlement classes who submit valid claims would be entitled to a pro rata share of the settlement fund after deduction of attorneys’ fees and costs, service awards for the class representatives, and the costs of settlement notice and administration, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary approval of the settlement filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. ...
