A former executive at a real estate investment firm says her ex-employer denied her a promotion and then fired her when she expressed concerns about what she viewed as the firm’s bias against women of color.
Mary Vincent—a woman of Indian origin—claims LaSalle Investment Management Inc. discriminated and retaliated against her in violation of federal, New York City, and New York state civil rights law.
A spokesperson for LaSalle didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
