Timmieo Curry worked for Hughes from 1985 to 1996. When Curry left voluntarily, he was paid a lump sum of $8,517 from the contributory part of Hughes’ retirement plan. Raytheon acquired Hughes in 1997 and took over its retirement plan. When Curry rejoined Raytheon in 1998, he was placed in the non-contributory part of the pension plan.
