Rapper G Herbo Accused of Shorting Law Firm $238,000 in Fees

Chicago rapper G Herbo cheated Prince Lobel Tye LLP out of nearly $238,000 he owes the firm for defending him against charges that he used stolen credit card information to support his luxury lifestyle, according to a lawsuit.

G Herbo, whose legal name is Herbert Wright, was indicted in 2020 and charged with “using misappropriated credit card numbers to rent private jets, obtain two puppies, rent a villa, and obtain other luxury services without paying for them,” according to the lawsuit filed in Massachusetts Superior Court, Suffolk County.
