Racial Profiling Probe Sought of Texas Public Safety Department

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s controversial operation to quell illegal migration is under fire from two civil rights groups that claim racial profiling of Latino drivers has led to as many as 30 car-chase deaths following unlawful traffic stops.

The groups have written the US Justice Department, asking it to investigate.
