R. Kelly Assistant’s Defamation Suit Against Netflix Dismissed

A defamation case from R. Kelly’s personal assistant against Netflix Inc., Lifetime Entertainment Services LLC, and A&E Television Networks LLC must be dismissed because she didn’t show that statements about her in a documentary were made with “actual malice,” a federal court said.
