Quality Temporary Services Must Face Suit Over 2021 Data Breach

Quality Temporary Services Inc. must face a proposed class action alleging it was negligent in connection with an October 2021 data breach that exposed the personal information of more than 81,000 temporary workers.

Plaintiff Michael Lochridge sufficiently pleaded a concrete injury from the breach to establish standing to sue in federal court, and alleged damages sufficient to state a claim for negligence, Judge F. Kay Behm of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said Friday.
