Redstone filed a federal lawsuit accusing chip maker Qualcomm of making and selling products that infringe on its patent for a specific method of communication between processor cores in a multi-core processor.
Redstone Logics LLC previously sued Qualcomm Inc. and Qualcomm Technologies Inc., alleging patent infringement for its implementation of ARM’s processor architecture in a September 2024 lawsuit.
Now, Redstone alleges that Qualcomm’s new Oryon architecture infringes the same patent—US Patent No. 8,549,339—in a complaint filed June 5 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
