Quad/Graphics Inc. and a subsidiary violate federal disabilities bias law by increasing the insurance premiums of workers who refuse to submit to biometric testing under the companies’ employee wellness programs, a class lawsuit charges.
The Americans with Disabilities Act mostly bars employers from forcing employees to submit medical disclosures or undergo screening that might reveal whether they are or may be disabled and the nature of their condition, Leanne Diment said in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
