Psychiatric Facility Sues Filmmaker Over Undercover Recordings

A social media activist and online filmmaker filmed minor patients at a Utah psychiatric facility without the consent of the patients or the facility in violation of state and federal privacy laws, a federal lawsuit said.

UHS of Provo Canyon Inc. alleged that Robert Bliss sought employment at one of its residential-treatment centers under false pretenses in January 2024, and filmed patients and gathered information about them and the facility during his training period in the following month.
