Prudential Must Face Worker’s Bias, Constructive Firing Claims

Prudential Insurance Co. of America didn’t convince a federal court that it had legitimate reasons for transferring an associate to a new sales channel and must face her sex discrimination claims.

A reasonable jury can look at the evidence presented by former employee Kara Miller and hold that Prudential’s explanation for the transfer was “unworthy of belief,” Chief Judge Eric F. Melgren said Thursday for the US District Court for the District of Kansas.
