Neuhtah Opiotennione didn’t show that she suffered a particularized injury traceable to the defendants’ challenged conduct, Judge Allison Jones Rushing said for the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Opiotennione, who was searching for rental property in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., markets, sued under local consumer laws.
