Progressives Sue Ohio AG Over Denied Ballot Measure Language (1)

Progressive groups in Ohio have sued the state attorney’s general, alleging he is stymieing the process of ultimately getting a voting rights measure on the November ballot.

Attorney General Dave Yost (R) rejected the title of the proposed constitutional amendment, called the “Ohio Voters Bill of Rights,” on Jan. 25 yet didn’t address any problems with its summary, which he was required to do within 10 days of it being sent to him.
