Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. and claims processors who say the company wrongly exempted them from overtime payments reached a deal worth nearly $772,000 to resolve their wage-and-hour dispute.
The deal includes $375,000 for the workers and almost $397,000 in attorneys’ fees and reimbursement of litigation costs for collective counsel Lytle & Barszcz, according to a settlement approval motion filed in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Thursday.
