Music theory professor Timothy L. Jackson agreed to end his free speech case against the University of North Texas over his defense of a music theorist charged with racism.
Jackson and the university filed a joint stipulation Wednesday requesting the lawsuit be dismissed with prejudice, according to a filing in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
