A music producer who created sound recordings of songs for “EPIC,” a musical theatrical adaptation of Homer’s “The Odyssey,” filed suit in federal court seeking a ruling that it owns the copyright in the recorded works.
Blair Russell Productions LLC and BRP Records LLC filed the suit Monday against the author of the compositions, Jorge Rivera-Herrans, in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
