Procter & Gamble Sued Over ZzzQuil ‘Non-Habit Forming’ Claim

Procter & Gamble Co. deceptively portrays ZzzQuil sleep aids as “non-habit forming” even though they’re made with an ingredient that can cause psychological dependence, two consumers allege in a new lawsuit.

ZzzQuil nighttime sleep aid products contain diphenhydramine, Stephen Sneed and Nickolas Cannon say in a proposed class action filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
