Pro-Palestinian School Walkouts Near Dallas Get Paxton Probe (1)

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) is investigating a school district near Dallas for alleged acts of antisemitism in insisting students take a pro-Palestinian view of the war in Gaza.

Paxton in a letter Thursday demanded that Plano Independent School District produce documents for policies on student walkouts, claiming that the district provided excused absences to students who participated in pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

Parents who complained to school officials and City of Plano councilmembers “have either been ignored or met with vague responses that do nothing to meaningfully address the problem,” Paxton wrote in the letter to Superintendent Theresa Williams.
