Fat Tuesday restaurant must face trial on some claims by a former bartender who says she was fired mere days after disclosing her pregnancy, a Las Vegas federal judge ruled.
A jury could find Briggs Management LLC and Briggs Management Inc. violated state laws prohibiting pregnancy discrimination and requiring employers to reasonably accommodate workers with medical conditions related to pregnancy or childbirth, the US District Court for the District of Nevada said.
