Prager University Foundation no longer faces a Video Privacy Protection Act suit after a federal judge said the plaintiffs failed to sufficiently allege the conservative video content producer wrongfully shared their viewing history with third parties.
“There is a growing divide among courts about whether Facebook IDs coupled with video viewing histories transmitted by Facebook Pixel satisfy the ordinary person test,” Judge Mark C. Scarsi of the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
