Portable Outdoor Shower Maker Says Rival Infringing Its Marks

A California company that sells portable pressurized water products is suing an Arizona-based rival for using a confusingly similar mark to target the same consumers.

Outdoor Culture Inc.—doing business as RinseKit—says Rinse Off Systems LLC is infringing three of its registered marks for similar products to mislead consumers in the same market, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of California.

With “blatant disregard,” Outdoor alleges Rinse Off is “manufacturing, producing, marketing, distributing, offering for sale, and selling in interstate commerce a line of portable showers bearing the mark RINSEOFF or RINSE OFF,” ...
