Pornhub Wins Dismissal of Suit Alleging Online Tracking for Ads

Aylo Global Entertainment Inc. convinced a California federal court that it lacks jurisdiction to hear a proposed class suit alleging it used online tools to track Pornhub users.

Plaintiffs M.S. and C.P. alleged they were tracked on Pornhub through tools from Google and TrafficJunky, and that Aylo transmitted the collected data to third-party advertisers.

But Aylo Global isn’t at home in California. It’s incorporated in Delaware and its principal place of business is Texas, so the US District Court for the Eastern District of California doesn’t have jurisdiction over it as a general matter. And the plaintiffs failed to sufficiently ...
