Home improvement website Porch.com and its subsidiary moved closer to resolving a California wage and hour suit involving nearly 240 employees, after a federal judge granted preliminary approval of the parties’ $500,000 settlement.
The employees will split $282,333 of the total amount. Class counsel plans to seek $166,666 in attorneys’ fees plus up to $20,000 in costs.
