Pop Warner Little Scholars, the largest U.S. youth football organization, sued
Pop Warner told the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Monday that Hanes’ Champion clothing brand sold Pop Warner merchandise and improperly used the name in search ads for football uniforms.
The organization says Champion’s infringing apparel is similar to the clothes that Pop Warner sells and licenses, and that Hanes is “appropriating Plaintiffs’ brand of academic and athletic excellence.”
