Online gambling platform PokerStars failed to protect the personal information of 110,000 people that was exposed in a May data breach, a proposed federal class action said.
Brian Tucker alleged that the data breach occurred due to the negligent acts and omissions of TSG Interactive US Services Ltd. Corp., which does business as PokerStars, and its failure to encrypt consumers’ data or take reasonable measures to protect it.
