Plug Power Sees Investors’ Insider Trading Claims Tossed (1)

Hydrogen fuel cell maker Plug Power Inc. has fought off more investor allegations of insider trading by its senior leaders.

The Delaware Chancery Court on Friday dismissed a lawsuit claiming Plug Power’s directors and executives dumped $122 million worth of shares just before its stock fell sharply upon news of accounting issues in its 2020 financial statements. A federal court in New York dismissed similar claims in a securities class action in August 2023.
