Planned Parenthood of NY Advances Countersuit Against Former COO

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York Inc. can sue its former chief operating officer for allegedly breaching his contract and making fraudulent representations about his employment history and qualifications, a Manhattan federal judge ruled.

One counterclaim the reproductive health services and abortion provider asserted in Samuel Mitchell’s discrimination and retaliation lawsuit adequately alleges he failed to establish residency in New York, as required by the letter offering him the permanent COO position, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
