Planned Parenthood of the Heartland scored a big win in Iowa, as the state’s supreme court struck down a law mandating a 72-hour delay for women seeking abortions.
The Iowa Supreme Court’s June 29 decision comes hot on the heels of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy’s resignation, a move that many abortion rights advocates have said puts the fate of legalized abortion in question.
