Pillsbury Winthrop Settles Paralegal’s Disability Bias Lawsuit

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP and a former paralegal, who alleged the law firm violated state, federal, and New York City laws by firing him after he requested reasonable accommodations for his cancerous conditions, have settled his suit. The US District Court for the Southern District of New York issued a dismissal order following a jointly filed status letter on Wednesday that mentioned a mediation between the parties that took place on Nov. 30, 2023.
