Physical Therapist Should Have to Arbitrate Covid Vaccine Claims

A physical therapist should have to arbitrate allegations that her employer ran afoul of religious discrimination laws when it fired her for refusing to get vaccinated against Covid-19, a federal magistrate judge said.

The worker argued that she didn’t actually accept when Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services LLC presented her with an arbitration agreement. But she electronically signed one version of the agreement, so the court should grant the employer’s motion to compel arbitration, Magistrate Judge Philip R. Lammens of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said.
