Philadelphia Parking Authority Beats Male Worker’s Sex Bias Suit

The Philadelphia Parking Authority prevailed in a lawsuit brought by a male worker who claimed he was passed over for a promotion that was given to a less-experienced female employee.

William Pirolli “did not perform anywhere near as well” as the female employee, and only supports his sex discrimination claims with “speculative theories without evidence,” Judge Mark A. Kearney of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a Wednesday order.
