Philadelphia DA’s Office, Worker Settle Religious Bias Vax Claim

The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office settled religious bias claims with a former employee after she had alleged the city illegally fired her for refusing the Covid-19 vaccine.

Former Assistant DA Rachel Spivak and the city reached a settlement with undisclosed terms and dismissed the suit with prejudice on Wednesday, according to an order in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Magistrate Judge Carol Sandra Moore Wells also dismissed claims against Philadelphia District Attorney Lawrence S. Krasner with prejudice on Tuesday, according to a separate order.
