A federal court dismissed a journalist’s claims against Pfizer executives and a member of the former Biden Administration for allegedly violating his First Amendment rights by pressuring Twitter to suspend his account over his reporting on the Covid-19 vaccine.
Alex Berenson lacked standing to assert his claim against a former White House senior adviser, said Judge Jessica G.L. Clarke in an opinion Monday. And he didn’t plausibly allege the existence of a cognizable protected class, or any discriminatory animus by the adviser and Pfizer executives, she said, granting the defendants’ motion to dismiss.
