Perfect Bar buyers can proceed with their lawsuit concerning an allegedly deceptive statement about the bars’ protein content.
The buyers adequately detailed their reliance on the statement, a federal judge said in denying Perfect Bar LLC’s motion to dismiss the latest version of their proposed class suit.
Mehva Roffman and Lisa Chong alleged that representations, like the “7G PROTEIN” statement on the front of the dark chocolate flavored bar, lead consumers to think the product will provide the stated amount of usable protein.
