Perennial Power Holdings Inc. and Perennial-WindChaser LLC reached a settlement with an environmental group that sued over alleged water pollution from a now-canceled gas-fired combustion turbine generator facility, according to a filing in an Oregon federal court.
Columbia Riverkeeper told the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon that Perennial was polluting waters with stormwater linked to construction activities at the site in Hermiston, Ore., without a required permit. The company was building an access road and bridge on the site of its Perennial Wind Chaser Station.
