PepsiCo, Workers Get Nod for Nearly $13 Million Kronos Hack Deal

PepsiCo Inc., New Tiger LLC, their subsidiaries, and workers who say they’re owed wages after the companies’ third-party timekeeping system went down may move forward with a deal for millions in damages, a federal judge in New York said.

The settlement provides $12.75 million in liquidated damages and penalties for nearly 70,000 people who worked at the companies in the aftermath of the outage. The US District Court for the Southern District of New York preliminarily approved the deal.
