Pennsylvania Law Firm Beats Heirs’ Malpractice Lawsuit Over Will

A Pennsylvania law firm convinced a state court not to revive a legal malpractice lawsuit brought against it by beneficiaries of a will that the firm allegedly failed to finalize before the client died.

Darlene Vlahos of Vlahos Law Firm PC prepared a will for John Hauser in 2014, and then Hauser and his then-fiancée sought to revive the will in 2018. Vlahos failed to finish tasks involved with the will and, when Hauser died five weeks later, the 2014 will was probated.
