Pennsylvania County Fails to Avoid Ex-Worker’s Retaliation Suit

Pennsylvania’s Schuylkill County and several of its officials failed to defeat a former employee’s claims that she was retaliated against over her involvement in a sexual harassment lawsuit against some of the same officials.

The county’s former human resources director, Deborah Twigg, plausibly alleged she was denied consideration to return to her previous position in violation of state and federal civil rights laws, Judge Julia K. Munley of the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania wrote in a Thursday order.
