Human resources software company Paycor Inc. must continue to litigate a class action from Club Fitness workers who say their biometric data was improperly collected by its timekeeping system, a federal judge ruled.
Employees of Club Fitness—which isn’t a party to the suit filed to the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois—said Paycor failed to get their consent to gather and distribute their fingerprints in order to track hours worked. The company also allegedly failed to provide or follow a retention schedule.
