Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) says the Dallas and Irving school districts are skirting a state law banning transgender female athletes from competing on girls teams.
Paxton’s office sent letters this week accusing the districts of trying to help parents classify transgender females as biological females, his office announced Thursday.
The source of Paxton’s inquiry appears to be videos circulated on social media showing interactions between school administrators and a person claiming to be the parent of a prospective student.
