An explosive email from the top aide under Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) about the office’s former star appellate lawyer can be used as evidence to support an employment and sexual harassment lawsuit, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
A female plaintiff employed in Paxton’s office can “take discovery on any issue in the email,” Judge Alan Albright of the Western District of Texas said at the end of a hearing in Waco.
